Hafford Central School

Hafford Central School is a Kindergarten Grade 12 school with an approximate enrolment of 135 students, an FTE of 9 professional staff and 8 support staff. Summary of Position

This posting is for a Permanent Part-Time caretaker at Hafford Central School, to commence September 9 2025.  Position hours are six(6) hours (0.75 FTE) daily from Monday through Friday.  As a Caretaker, you will focus on keeping the school clean and maintained to provide an optimal learning setting for our students.  The successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills, be energetic, have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.

This position includes janitorial work, groundskeeping, seasonal tasks, and some maintenance.  

Please note that this position is subject to CUPE Article 12.02.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with a Grade 12 education and previous training/experience in caretaking
A Firemans Certificate or WHMIS training would be considered an asset
