Coordinate and plan meetings/sessions, De-escalate situations, respond to the emotional needs of families in crisis and mediate when needed, Document daily interactions. Arrange and participate in case management conferences with the Ministry of Social Services and/or other referral agencies. Travel to families homes within Regina to assist and support their needs Other duties as may be required from time to time as directed by management.
Report accurate and necessary information, Keep accurate logbook of activities.
Understanding of developmental stages and needs of children, Demonsatrated respect for children and families of various backgrounds. Knowledge and experience working with families who have experienced Trauma, addictions and emotional and mental challenges an asset
Current First Aid/CPR, Narcan/ Naloxone training
Posess effective conflict resolution skills
Drivers license and appropriate vehicle coverage as requested by management
Obtain a criminal record check as well as vulnerable sector check
Work Hours are Monday- Friday 12PM-8PM
