As OHC Safety Officer duties of the job but not restricted to as follows:
- Conduct daily inspections of workplace to identify potential hazards. Ensure employees are familiar, aware of hazards associated with the task, trained in specific task and safe procedure of work
- Assess risks associated with equipment, processes, storage and work environments
- Check employee's competency and training certification
- Create, update, and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with Government Laws
- Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, or near misses to determine cause
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain records of incidents and safety audits as required.
- Attend all the OHC Meetings and participate in all internal and external audits and walkthroughs
