We are looking for a responsible, highly skilled, compassionate, caring. experienced and enthusiastic professional to provide medical transportation services to LLRIB community members. The Medical Transportation Program is located in La Ronge.
About the position: The Medical Transportation Coordinator provides supervision and direction to the Medical Transportation Team and works under the direction of the Administration Manager. S/he is responsible for day-to-day supervising, scheduling, operating and maintaining the Medical Transportation Program for the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide Medical Transportation benefits to clients in a manner consistent with NIHB directives;
Ensure support to clientele throughout the process (i.e., obtain/submit information, completion of forms, provide clients with notice of appointments and travel, etc.);
Develop and monitor annual budgets and yearly program planning, develop proposals, reports, service delivery models and track statistical information;
Assist in development and/or implementation of community health plan, strategic plan and evaluations;
Provide supervision and direction to Medical Transportation Team;
Maintain positive public relations with clients and work effectively with the health care team;
Effective conflict resolution and problem solving and ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications: Minimum Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Admin
