Job description

Rider Express Saskatoon branch is looking for a Bus Driver to transport our customers in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will have a minimum Class 1-2 Commercial Drivers License, and must have minimum 3 years of experience driving coach buses in highway environment. We are looking for an individual with great customer service skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience of semi truck driving and school bus driving will be also considered. License 1 or 2 with air brake is required and clean driving abstract is a must.

Responsibilities:

Drive on the city traffic and highways at night, in the rain, or in the snow.
Drive a vehicle for long distances.
Driving during rush hour traffic or other heavy traffic conditions.
Communicate with passengers and manage expectations
Deal with difficult passengers through tact and respect.
Take control of a vehicle in an emergency.
Able to drive in the extreme weather conditions which may occur during all seasons including winter. E.g. navigating icy , windy roads and stormy conditions etc
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
