Description

As a key member of the Citys Senior Management Team, this leadership role will play a central part in shaping the future of our community by driving strategic priorities across business development, economic growth, and core municipal services.

This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced and visionary leader to oversee a diverse portfolio that includes business development, bylaw enforcement, asset management, engineering, planning, building inspections, and permitting services.

KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Community Development Division, including Economic Development, Bylaw Compliance, Licensing, Building Inspection Services, and Asset Management.
- Lead interdepartmental collaboration to address and implement corporate priorities, particularly those related to Economic Development, Housing, and Community Initiatives
- Develop and maintain forward-thinking policies, strategies, and procedures that align with the City's long-term goals
- Recruit, develop, and mentor departmental staff to build a high-performing and community-focused team.
- Serve as a proactive and visible representative of the City in community partnerships, regional and provincial initiatives.
- Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the CAO.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
