Job Description: Under the direction of a Program Manager and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker provides a range of treatment and case coordination services to children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder. The incumbent will assist with supporting families around child and adolescent development issues, parent networking, and transitions within the community and the school system. This person will also work closely with colleagues to develop parent programs and social opportunities for children, assist with development and delivery of groups, and liaise with external agencies that serve similar populations. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement". HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Experience
- Requires a minimum of 1 year (postgraduate) recent recognized experience in a community mental health setting working with children and youth with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum disorder. Experience working with other acute and chronic mental health problems in children and youth is an asset. Experience working with preschool children is an asset.
