Description

Position Title:Loader and Grader Operator
Term:On-Call (November 1, 2025  April 1, 2026)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Loader and Grader Operatorfor on-call work during the winter season. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance duties, light construction, and snow removal. This role requires the operation of a variety of equipment in a safe and efficient manner and may include other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate tandem gravel trucks, semi gravel trucks, motor graders, tractors, and other heavy equipment safely and appropriately.
Perform daily maintenance and operational checks on all utilized equipment.
Conduct snow removal and light construction tasks as required.
Demonstrate ongoing efforts to improve operations and uphold high work standards.
Follow project timelines with attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of current technologies and equipment operation techniques.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the shop, equipment, and work areas.
Perform duties as assigned by the Foreman and/or Rural Lead Operator.
Operate effectively in all weather conditions, including extreme cold.
Contribute to the overall care and welfare of the community.
