Grade 4 Teacher  LITTLE PINE
Little Pine First Nation are accepting applications to the position of Grade 4 Teacher.
  
Duties and Responsibilities:
    Nurture, support and guide young learners
    Prepare engaging lessons and interactive learning activities/materials
    Conduct formal and informal assessment of students
    Facilitate learning activities both within the classroom setting and outdoors
    Participate in co-curricular school activities
    Promote and maintain high standards of behavior, respect and safety within the classroom
    Support families with open, ongoing communication
    Prepare lesson plans with clear objectives that follow SK curriculum standards
Applicants must possess:
    Bachelor of Education Degree
    Possess or be in application of a valid SK Teaching Certificate
    Must be willing to learn and speak the Cree language and participation in Cree cultural land base
    Proficiency in teaching literacy and numeracy
    Teaching technology in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
    Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
    Knowledgeable and able to support differentiated instruction
    Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
    Well-organized and committed
    Creative and energetic
    Independent, reliable, and willingness to work as a team player
    Ability to follow direction
    References (Practicum Evaluations are also acceptable) and work history
