The Aboriginal Friendship Centres of Saskatchewan (AFCS) is seeking a dynamic Program Facilitator to join our team. Reporting to the Program Director, this role will lead the delivery, and evaluation of our Cultural Humility Training Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating training sessions, supporting Friendship Centre-based facilitators, managing performance metrics, and helping to grow the social enterprise model of the training initiative.
This position requires strong skills in education, public speaking, relationship-building, and data evaluation. The Program Facilitator will work closely with the AFCS Team, Member Friendship Centres across the province, and external partners to champion cultural humility and other Anti-Discrimination training and promote systemic change through training, evaluation, and social innovation.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as lead facilitator for the AFCS' Cultural Humility Training.
Monitor and adjust training materials.
Support development of the training programs.
Assist with reporting, collective evaluation data and preparing updates for funders and leadership.
Travel to support delivery and partner engagement.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Indigenous Studies, Social Science or related field.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Excellent facilitation, public speaking and cross-cultural communication.
Experience working within Indigenous communities or organizations, with strong understanding of urban Indigenous contexts.
