Red Eagle Lodge Senior Care Home on Pasqua First Nation is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals responsible for providing high quality care to our relatives. Working directly under the Clinical Supervisor the care aide provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/relatives to encourage optimum level of functioning. The successful candidate will provide a positive, professional company image with all internal and external contacts, maintain confidentiality, discretion, tact, diplomacy, and flexibility in their daily work routine. Our relatives deserve the best, so we are seeking someone to join our team who will work together to provide our relatives with quality, value, and a clear choice of a safe comfortable place to call home.      
Responsibilities:
    Helping relatives with leisure activities
    Ensuring health, safety, welfare, and independence of relatives
    Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of relatives
    Documenting and recording daily care reports which may include relative incident reports, restraint monitoring, and medication administration.
    Ability to work independently
    Ensure relative confidentiality at all times
    Ability to follow and carry out aspects of a relatives unique care plan
    To practice his/her job in a safe manner for both self and the relative
    To ensure that Red Eagle Lodge Senior Care Home policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
    Promotes the Mission and Values of Red Eagle Lodge Senior Care Home
    Interacts and communicates with clinical team and members of the multidisciplinary team to meet relative care needs
Qualifications & Experience
    Current Continuing Care Aid Certificate, or enrolled in program not required but an asset
    Current First Aid and CPR Level C
    Previous working experience in personal care home or long term care an asset
    Awareness of cultural sensitivity and differences
    Knowledge of and support of First Nations culture
