The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine warehouse functions such as: shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing materials; monitoring and correcting inventory levels as required; and providing training and support to junior employees.
In this role, you will:
-Issue materials from various warehouse facilities
-Respond to material requests and queries
-Receive, inspect, and load/off-load general freight
-Provide mentorship and guidance to junior employees
-Use electronic devices and systems, including SAP
Required:
-Grade 12 education or equivalent
-Minimum of five years related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment
-Experience with job kitting, cycle counting, and MRP review
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
-Advanced computer skills, including the use of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and handheld devices
-Forklift and loader operator certifications
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
-Experience working with SAP
-Previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods
