Description

The Town of Nipawin is seeking a Curling Ice Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and removal of curling ice at the Nipawin Evergreen Centre. This is a contracted position.

Qualifications & competencies include demonstrated expertise in curling ice installation and maintenance, strong knowledge of ice plant operations and safety protocols, ability to work independently, and physical ability to perform demanding tasks in cold environments. Previous experience as a Curling Ice Technician is considered an asset.

Schedule: October 15, 2025  March 31, 2026, with potential extension for cleanup or additional maintenance. Preference to extend contract into several years.
Support: A helper will be budgeted at $350.00/month to assist with ice maintenance.
