Description

Truckline Parts and Service is a locally owned, full service shop that specializes in heavy-duty trucks and trailers. We have been in business for over 30 years.

Truckline Parts & Service is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanics. In this role you will inspect, repair and service our customers' semi-truck and trailer units, plus light and medium duty fleet trucks.

There are no evening, weekend or holiday shifts. We offer the flexibility that comes with working for a smaller employer.

Your Job
- Perform SK Safety Inspections of trucks and trailers
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all truck and trailer systems. Rebuild differentials and transmissions. Clutch experience required.
- Mentor apprentices and provide support to fellow mechanics
- Promote and demonstrate a culture of safety, holding yourself and others accountable
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in performing tasks outside those not listed in primary job functions

Requirements
- Journeyperson or 4th Year Apprentice Truck and Transport Mechanic. Applicants with an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience will also be considered.
- SGI Vehicle Safety Inspection Certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience overhauling and repairing major components
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating professional work behaviors
- Provide your own tools and toolbox
- Valid drivers licence
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
