Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 32.00 hours / week
Main Job Duties:
Manage accounts payable: process owner payments, perform cheques runs for business and utilities providers.
Manage accounts receivable: collect and apply payments to correct ledgers, record credit notes
Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date
Ensure all transactions are recorded properly
Ensure all correspondence with CRA are dealt in timely manner
Answer any accounting related questions that owners and employees may have
Calculate and process the payroll
Complete and submit payroll and GST remittances to appropriate authorities by the due date
Prepare financial reports
Monitor the profit and loss statement weekly
Reconcile all the bank accounts on monthly basis, prepare credit card reconciliation report monthly
Responsible for setting and monitoring utility accounts
Employment requirements
Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field
