Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of OUTSaskatoon run smoothly and efficiently. As the first point of contact at OUTSaskatoon, this role supports internal communications, coordinates volunteers, and ensures a welcoming, organized, and inclusive space for 2SLGBTQ+ community members.
The ideal Administrative Assistant will possess:
A warm, welcoming presence and strong interpersonal skills to ensure all community members feel safe and respected upon arrival.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and consistency.
A proactive and organized approach to front desk management, scheduling, and office maintenance.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to draft clear memos, social media posts, and resource updates.
A commitment to OUTSaskatoons values, including inclusion, equity, and respect for 2SLGBTQ+ identities and communities.
Flexibility and willingness to support a variety of administrative and operational tasks as needs arise.
Familiarity with confidentiality and privacy practices in community service settings.
