Description

Little Goslings Child Care Centre is located in the Village of Quill Lake, SK offering care from ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age. We are currently searching for passionate individuals who love to make a positive change in childrens lives while providing high quality care.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum which follows Play and Exploration principles.
Providing supervision to children in care
Maintaining communication with parents daily, through face-to-face communication and interactive apps, such as Lillio.
Creating a positive environment for staff, children and parents that enter the Centre
Encourages creativity of each child through art and dramatic play
Recognize and respond to the needs of each child by using developmentally appropriate teachings and child behavior management techniques.
Implementing positive reinforcement to guide childrens behaviors
Using a variety of strategies to guide childrens development
Maintaining cleanliness of the Centre
Responding to childrens need which include diapering children and assisting with toileting and other self-care skills

Required Education/Certification
ECE Level I, II, III, or willing to attain
Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
First Aid Certification, CPR Level C
Food Safe Certification is considered an asset

Experience
Experience working with children of ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age
Experience in a childcare setting is considered an asset
Experience with developmentally appropriate programming
Working in a team-based environment
Strong communication skills
