Description

Little Goslings Child Care Centre is a new Centre in Quill Lake, SK. We provide care for ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age. We are currently searching for a motivated individual who has a passion for food and cooking. The Centre cook would be responsible for providing three meals each day.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepping three meals per day while following Canada's Food Guide
Purchasing of the food
Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and of all appliances
Providing coverage for staff during lunch breaks and programming to ensure that child to staff ratio is met

Required Education/Certification

Safe Food Handling course
First Aid/ CPR Level C Certification
Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
A strong understanding of the Canadian Food Guide
Level I, II, III is considered an asset

Experience

Experience in a kitchen setting
Knowledge of Canada's Food Guide
Experience working in a child care setting is an asset
Willing to train the successful applicant
