Description

Responsible to prepare meals for residents in a Care home. Cooking for seniors goes beyond just preparing meals, it's about connecting with the residents and understanding their unique dietary needs and preferences. Food preparation and cooking, presentation with meals/snacks for seniors demands a strong focus on nutrition. You will be part of the team with your head cook to apply these skills.
Kitchen maintenance and cleaning.
Maintaining stocks and supplies.
Following planned Menu based on Canada's Food Guide.
Time management, Team player and excellent communication skills needed.
Following food safety requirements.

Shifts are 8 hour days including weekends and some STAT holidays.
