Job Order Detail

Description

1.    To perform all the duties required for the operation of the water and wastewater utility system     in compliance with Saskatchewan Water Agency regulations.
2.    To maintain the streets, lanes, sidewalks, boulevards, parking lots of the Town of Kyle and designated Town owned properties and in the winter season, to ensure snow is removed for     safe passage on the streets and sidewalks.
3.    To ensure all Town of Kyle owned vehicles and equipment are maintained to operate in a safe     and efficient manner.  A preventative maintenance log shall be kept current on all vehicles and equipment, and repairs will be attended to immediately.
4.    To bring forward to the Administrator and the Public Works Committee any major repairs that     may be required as they occur.
5.    To maintain the Public Works building and grounds and the Town office building and grounds.    To maintain the grounds of the designated Town owned buildings listed here but not limited to : Kyle Sports Centre, Kyle Elks Community Hall, Handivan Garage, Museum grounds, Kyle Library grounds,  and all vacant town owned property.
6.    To perform any other duties pertaining to the welfare of the Town of Kyle that may be assigned by the Town of Kyle Administrator and Town Foreman.
7.    General building maintenance at the Kyle Rink and Kyle Fitness Centre buildings during winter months
8.    Log and monitor ice plants for skating rink and curling rink during winter months
