Summary of Position
This is a Temporary full time School Liaison position, commencing as soon as possible to June 30, 2026.  Position hours are 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.  As a School Liaison Worker, you will be responsible for building genuine relationships with students/families and community partners and advocating for those who experience barriers to success in school.

Accountabilities

Enhance relationships between school and home to meet student needs  including home visits
Act as the link between school, home, and community to support student and family wellness
Provide support to students who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural dysregulation
Enhance connections to Indigenous and/or multicultural communities.
Ensure students social and emotional needs are met as part of an inclusive school system.
Support student learning and success using a strength-based, individualized approach
Assist in the development and/or implementation of preventative programs and activities for individuals and groups
Build relationships and provide necessary connections with partner organizations to help families access needed resources and/or services
