Donalds Fine Foods, a family-owned global provider of high-quality specialty meat products, has an exciting opportunity for experienced Meat Cutters/Butchers, based out of our Moose Jaw, SK location.

Brief Job Description
An Industrial Meat Cutter is responsible for assisting with various production needs. All production work will be carried out efficiently while having the highest priority on safety.

Responsibilities:
The general work requires the skilled butchering techniques using knifes and tools to trim and prepare pork carcasses into standard cuts for further processes, wholesale, and retail markets. Products produced range from basic offal items to labeled vacuum sealed cuts sold domestically and internationally.
Held rail, open brisket, evisceration table, head breaker, knife sharpener, bung gun, offal trimmers, probe operator, shavers, stun/shackle, loin boning, loin and belly band saw operator, primal deboning, trim loins, whizard knife operators. Shoulder/picnic saw operator, weigh/push/trim carcasses.
Working knowledge of the production needs product specifications, the flow of production lines, and production-related equipment operation.
Following all company, food and health and safety policies and procedures.
Reviewing equipment and supplies to ensure they are in good working condition.
Performing various production-related duties on a rotation basis.
Other production-related tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor.
Employees are exposed to controlled cold temperatures, noise, and a physically laborious fast-paced environment.
