Description

TITLE: Shop Manager
Hydraulitechs Solutions is seeking a highly organized and experienced Shop Manager to oversee all shop operations, including production, assembly, inventory, and shipping, quality control, and employee supervision. The role is critical to ensuring timely delivery, consistent product quality, and smooth interdepartmental collaboration.
The successful candidate will have a proven expertise in the following responsibilities
Shop Management:
Oversee daily operations across production, assembly, machining, welding, painting, and shipping
Ensure production schedules are met, and delivery timelines are maintained
Monitor workflow and job progress using existing software and tools
Overseeing the physical condition and operational readiness of the shop including maintenance of equipment and tools, cleanliness and organization of workspaces, safety compliance, coordination of facility repairs, ensuring that utilities and shop infrastructure support uninterrupted production. Management of inventory and acting as a liaison with external contractors for building related services.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations or shop management in manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of production workflows and team coordination
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing systems
Knowledge of system and documentation
Background in mechanical engineering and industrial operations
Knowledge or experience in industrial hydraulics, machining or Millwrighting will be considered as an asset.
