Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave #466 in Martensville, Saskatchewan.

Job Description:
--Reporting to the Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager, and under the supervision of a pharmacist, this role is responsible for performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice.
--40 hours per week.
--The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
--Availability on both weekdays and weekends is required. 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:
--Performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
--Receive written prescriptions from customers.
--Locate the medication, select the prescription container, and count/pour the medication.
--Attach the label to the prescription container.
--Ensure that the original container, prescription container contents, and label are checked and initialled by the pharmacist.
--Regularly phone customers for unclaimed prescriptions.
--Keep all areas of the pharmacy clean, neat, and professional.
--Maintain an adequate stock of pharmacy supplies.
--Answer the pharmacy's telephone
--Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists.

Qualifications:
--Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy witha preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business.
--Skilled in using Kroll and highly accurate and efficient in prescription data entry.
--Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
--Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
--Criminal Record Check required.
