Responsibilities:
The SILP worker will support individuals in a variety of settings. This may include the supported individuals own apartments/homes, shelters, other CBO homes, and outreach (Homeless).
The SILP worker position is a harm reduction model.
SILP workers support individuals that may have complex diagnosis and behavior.
The SILP Worker will support individuals by promoting their involvement with family, friends, advocates and the community to ensure that their comfort, safety, and health requirements are being met. The SILP Worker will also encourage individuals to develop individual skills, talents and abilities so that they may have maximum control over their own life.
Licence/Certification (Required):
Recent clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
Experienced Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License.
Current First Aid and CPR training.

Availability/Shifts: Weekdays Only: 9am-5pm (Mon-Thurs), 7am-3pm ,9am-5pm (Fridays).
