Description

Natural Wonders has 6 ELCs, all of which are diverse and fully inclusive environments.  We provide programming for children ages 6 weeks through the 12th year.  We require a team leader for our school-age site with excellent communication and strong critical thinking skills, who can mentor and lead a team.

The position's main role is to be a pedagogical leader on the team while supporting the ECE staff, creating centers, developing and implementing programming, conducting fire drills, parent connections, and working closely and confidentially with other managers and consultants.  You will also oversee basic building maintenance to keep our environments safe, clean, and organized.  The clerical work required will be to manage staffing, clarification of timesheets, education supports, and developing groups. Other necessary reports are required for the Ministry of Education. Other duties as assigned.
Regulations by the Ministry of Education mandate that applicants currently meet, exceed, or are working towards an ECE III.  Other related fields will be evaluated by the Ministry of Education and certified in accordance with previously accredited education.

Must have current Food Safe, CPR-First Aid level C, Vulnerable sector/Criminal Record Check. This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and other duties are required. The position will be filled as soon as possible.
