Description

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc./ EGADZ requires a Full Time Financial Administrator. The Financial Administrator reports to Executive Director and is responsible for providing financial reports as needed for the Coordinators. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures, and preparing and monitoring the payroll system; providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that finances are accurate and up to date. The Financial Administrator will ensure that staff are paid in a timely manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits.

EGADZ is an inter-agency, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide services for hard to serve youth in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.

Qualifications:
    Post-secondary education in office administration and bookkeeping procedures, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Knowledge of payroll functions and procedures, account payable, account receivable, and maintaining general ledgers
    Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing programs, and email at a high proficient level
    Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
    Strong work ethic and time management skills
    Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    Effective written and oral communication skills
    Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and issues
    A good understanding of EGADZ and our mission
    A valid Class 5 drivers license with a safe driving record - A Driver's Abstract is Required (Within 3 Months)
    Criminal records Check (Within 6 Months)
