AcuFast is seeking motivated university students passionate about agriculture and excited to shape the future of pork production. Our Summer Internship provides hands-on training, dedicated mentors, and exposure to both the science and business of swine genetics. This program also offers the potential for full-time employment after graduation.

What Youll Do
- Train and perform daily production tasks at a genetic nucleus facility.
- Learn genetic processes behind evaluation and selection.
- Gain insight into AcuFast genetic lines and business structure.
- Complete a summer project and present findings at internship close-out.
- Connect with leaders across AcuFast operations and genetics.

What You Bring
- Work authorization in Canada.
- Enrolled in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Agriculture, or related field.
- Livestock experience (asset).
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and aligned with AcuFasts values.

Work Environment    
- On-site roles with early starts, weekend/holiday rotations, and physical livestock care.
- Strict biosecurity protocols including shower-in/out, downtime requirements are essential and will be clearly explained during training.
