The Water Treatment Plant Superintendent is responsible for managing and administering the operations, maintenance and staff of the Water Treatment Facility to ensure safe and compliant water delivery. Key responsibilities include supervising plant operators, developing treatment plans, managing budget and resources, ensuring compliance with safe drinking water regulations and the Permit to Operate, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing administrative tasks like reporting and training.
The City of Weyburn Water Treatment Plant provides the operation and management for a 5 MLD Surface Water Conventional Classified Level 4 Water Treatment Plant. This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering and is an integral component of our Engineering Department providing good quality, safe water to the citizens of Weyburn.
