Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for installing equipment, performing routine maintenance, and conducting repairs on our equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, flexibility to work a 4x10-hour weekly schedule, and a commitment to safety and quality.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Install, align, and assemble machinery and equipment according to specifications.
-Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on mechanical systems, conveyors, other equipment and facilities.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize production downtime.
-Repair or replace defective parts and ensure equipment operates within safety and regulatory standards.
-Maintain and repair HVAC systems.
-Monitor machinery performance and address potential issues proactively.
-Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
-Ensure compliance with safety and food safety regulations.
-Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and support new installations or upgrades.
-Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
-Assist with sourcing parts and replacing parts as needed.
-Ability to work flexible hours when needed
