Description

Foundations Learning & Skills Saskatchewan is a non-profit organization that changes lives throughout our province by providing free literacy, learning, and skills development programs delivered in partnership with trained volunteers and like-minded community partners. As we continue to expand financial literacy programs in Saskatchewan, we are embarking on a new project to deliver a Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. To accomplish this goal, we are recruiting a full-time employee in the role of Tax Clinic Coordinator to lead this work.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Literacy Program Manager and working closely with the Senior Financial Literacy Coordinator, the Tax Clinic Coordinator organizes, promotes, and delivers Foundations Learning & Skills Saskatchewans free Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). The objective of the CVITP is to help low income and underserved community members across Saskatchewan prepare their income tax and benefit returns to ensure they receive the benefits and credits they are entitled to. The position provides training, guidance, resources, and tools to community volunteers and builds local and provincial partnerships.
