Description

Job Summary:

We are expanding our programs and services and invite motivated, confident, and client-focused individuals to join our team. The Counsellor will deliver counselling services to individuals, couples, and families in a client-centered, confidential, and supportive environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time and workload independently.
Reporting to the Manager of Counselling Services, the Counsellor will support both the counselling team and the specific program they are assigned to. Assignments will be made based on client needs, counsellor suitability, and professional development.

Responsibilities:
Provide counselling to individuals, couples, and families using a variety of treatment approaches.
Conduct timely, solution-focused assessments and interventions, connecting clients with community resources.
Make referrals to appropriate services when needed.
Develop and deliver education sessions for staff, clients, and community groups on mental health topics.
Maintain accurate case records and reports according to organizational policies.
Engage in consultation and supervision as required.
