Trailtech Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality trailers and equipment, recognized for durability, reliability, and innovation. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our production team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
Position Summary
The Painter is responsible for preparing and applying finishes to trailers and components, ensuring Trailtech products meet the companys high standards of quality and appearance. This role plays a key part in delivering safe, durable, and professional-looking products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking before painting.
Mix, match, and apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray equipment and hand tools.
Inspect finished surfaces to confirm quality and adherence to company standards.
Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly; perform minor repairs when needed.
Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Follow all workplace health and safety standards, including PPE use and safe handling of materials.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the paint and finishing department.

Qualifications
Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive painting (spray-painting preferred).
Knowledge of surface prep, paint mixing, and coating application.
Ability to interpret work orders and follow instructions accurately.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality finishes.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Safety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Working Conditions
Indoor shop setting with exposure to paint fumes, dust, and noise (safety equipment provided).
Requires physical activity such as standing, bending, and lifting.
May include overtime or shift work depending on production needs.
