Description

As Assistant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the compliance of quality and food safety regulations and policies at this multi-faceted facility.  You will identify opportunities and make recommendations to simplify and streamline day to day work processes. You will have accountability for a broad range of Quality and Food Safety management, which may include Integrated Pest Management, Elevator, and Bulk loadout.

Your responsibilities:

Analyze, interpret, and implementQuality/Food Safety policies and customer standards

Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality specifications, safety standards, pest control and sanitation practices

Ownership within Integrated Pest Management and Finished Product Control Programs

Maintain customer audit programs and agreed 3rd party certification

Manage customer related documentation, assist in complaints investigation and ensure active customer support

Build relationships with local customers to uncover opportunities that lead to value creation and strengthen ties between our companies

Essential skills and experience:

Bachelors degree with 1  -3 yearsor High School diploma/GED with 5  -7years of Quality Systems and Food Safety experience in flour milling or related manufacturing industry
