Description

Under the direction of the Director of Lands & Resources, the Land Code Manager shall provide leadership, management, coordination of Kahkewistahaw activities and ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures.
The Lands Code Manager will be responsible for meeting the objectives of the Kahkewistahaw Land Code projects related to the use, occupancy and possession of Kahkewistahaw First Nation and the division of interests in the land specific to On and Off Reserve. Utilizing the best practices used by other First nations to meet the objectives of Chief, Council, Land Advisory Board, Administration and Band Members.
Provide support and coordination with Regulatory Manager as a back-up assisting with the engaging of Band members, lease rent review, and industry and Government representatives.
