Description

Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a knack for fixing things? Do you take pride in keeping buildings in top shape? We're looking for a Building Operator (Maintenance) to help maintain the day-to-day integrity of our facility.

In this part-time role, you'll focus on general building upkeep-from painting and patching walls to fixing doors and repairing fixtures. You'll be responsible for handling a wide range of minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks that keep the building safe, clean, and functional.

While the emphasis is on basic maintenance work, this position also provides additional coverage for our Building Operators and will step into the full Building Operator role as needed-supporting mechanical systems and assisting with operational duties during absences, peak times, or emergencies.

Qualifications

Grade 12 education or equivalent
Valid Fourth Class Engineer's Certificate
Valid Refrigeration Engineer's Certificate
Minimum 2 years' experience in building or facility maintenance
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence with a safe driving record
Acceptable Criminal Record Check upon offer of employment
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
Additional Details

This position involves shift work, including weekends, and requires a combination of physical maintenance tasks and occasional support of building system operations. You'll work both independently and as part of a team committed to keeping the facility in excellent condition.
