Description

Vetruviex is a newly launched design firm providing conceptual structure and site plans for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects, with a full launch in May 2026. In close partnership with a law firm, we also support clients with contract drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance. We focus on cost-effective, sustainability-driven solutions, farm site optimization, renewable energy integration, fire-resistant construction, and culturally responsive designs to help clients maximize returns, protect investments, and reduce risk.

We are seeking an internationally trained architect, engineer, or architectural technologist new to Saskatchewan, or a student/recent graduate pursuing recognition with SAA, APEGS, or other bodies. This is initially a part-time or contract role, ideal for gaining project experience and building a portfolio, with potential for an equity ownership track.

Responsibilities include preparing 2D/3D designs and site plans (SketchUp, Revit), contributing to marketing materials, and supporting both design and business development.

Qualifications: Degree/diploma (or in progress) in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Technologies; design/drafting experience; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and related tools. Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Canadian standards are essential. Licensure is not required.

What we offer: Real project experience; mentorship from an experienced entrepreneur; integrated legal support for contracts, financing, compliance, and permitting. Flexible remote work with access to downtown Saskatoon office space and Saskatoon Club facilities for meetings and presentations.
