Description

Responsibility to build, repair and install wooden cabinets or manufacture and install kitchen and bathroom cabinets and fittings to new or renovation work as well as shop fittings.

The following will be your job duties and responsibilities:

1. Examine the designs, plans, and specifications for the items that need to be built, or create requirements.
2. Mark the parts' dimensions or outlines on the wood.
3. Utilize hand tools and woodworking machinery, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
4. Using glue and clamps, trim joints, fit parts and sub assemblies together to make a complete unit, and strengthen joints with screws, nails, or other fasteners
5. Sand wooden surfaces, then finish products with veneer, stain, or gloss.
6. Fix or redesign wooden fixtures, furniture, and similar items.
