RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sales of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
2. To put together chemical orders, deliver/unload/load product as required by customers. Operate Forklift.
3. Ensure chemical shed is maintained as per government legislation. Ensure environmental compliance is maintained. Maintain facility to meet CPIC standards.
4. Ensure proper documentation is in place for all products leaving premises, load tickets and all other paperwork as per policy.
5. Promote and ensure adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts and image standards.
6. Treating seed.
7. To assist with the adherence and enforcement of Pioneer Co-op policies and procedures.
8. Coaching and mentoring and creating schedules for Shaunavon Agro.
9. Ensure all company procedures and policies are followed.
10. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have a valid Class 5 or higher drivers license (or willing to obtain higher class). Have a positive, professional approach and attitude. Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends. Perform on farm visits to increase sales volume. Pick, Prepare & deliver Crop Supply products. Assist with Inventory counting. Physically able to do heavy lifting, climbing and kneeling Forklift certification would be an asset. Ag Equipment and Sales experience required. Considered Safety Sensitive Position; Therefore, subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance policy as condition of employment.
