Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and carpentry with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. As a Fence and Deck Installer, you will build and install vinyl fences, custom decks, and integrated smart components, ensuring quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Install vinyl fences and perform upgrades or restorations on existing wooden fencing.
Build residential and commercial decks, including framing, railings, stairs, and surface boards.
Assist with smart-system installations such as outdoor Wi-Fi routers, cameras, IoT sensors, and low-voltage wiring integrated into fencing systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications accurately.
Operate hand and power tools safely for cutting, assembling, and aligning materials.
Measure, cut, and fit components precisely to ensure structural accuracy and visual consistency.
Conduct repairs, restorations, and finishing work, including painting or sealing as needed.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure on-time, high-quality project completion.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or fence/deck installation.
Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
Strong understanding of carpentry and fence installation techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with low-voltage wiring, IoT devices, or security systems is an asset.
Experience in caulking, welding, flooring, or tile work is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Able to work independently in outdoor conditions year-round.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
