Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Ag Mechanic to ensure our farm equipment and facilities are operating at peak efficiency. You will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and preparing farm machinery to keep it reliable during critical seasons, supporting safe and efficient farm operations, and assist with general farm maintenance. This role combines hands-on mechanical work with seasonal farm operational support, making it perfect for someone adaptable, detail-oriented, and passionate about agriculture.

Responsibilities:
-Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues.
-Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
-Provide emergency field service during seeding, spraying, and harvest.
-Operate farm machinery when needed.
-Assist with yard/building upkeep, snow removal, and pest/weed control.
-Maintain organized and safe work areas and equipment.
-Communicate repair needs and costs with management.
-Manage parts inventory and order supplies as required.
-Guide staff on equipment use and basic maintenance.

Qualifications:
-Experience with farm equipment repair and maintenance.
-Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
-Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
-Safety-focused with ability to handle outdoor, physical work (lifting 50 lbs).
-Valid Class 5 license (Class 1A an asset).
-Flexible for overtime and peak-season demands.
