We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our team at Preferred Energy Inc as an Electrical Estimator who possesses Electrical Engineering experience. We are seeking a candidate who has a positive and enthusiastic attitude who demonstrates the ability to distinguish themselves as a committed team member within the company. The successful candidate must possess the drive and ambition to challenge themselves in striving towards continual improvement and long-term success.
Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
    Preparing full-cost estimate takeoffs of construction projects
    Contributing to the development of design-build project executions
    Assisting in project proposals
    Providing support in project construction, commissioning, and testing
    Reviewing and ensuring field construction meet project specifications
Key job requirements include:
    Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technologist or related qualification
    Ability to read, analyze and interpret bid instructions, blueprints, and project specifications
    Effective time management and organizational skills
    Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
    Strong attention to detail
    Ability to meet deadlines
