What is the role?
Assisting with recruitment processes - organizing and attending career fairs, developing job descriptions, screening candidates, hiring and onboarding
Assisting with training & development initiatives: facilitating orientations, updating training materials, tracking employee training and certificates,
Maintaining the employee group benefits: provide regular employee communications; assist employees with claims and general questions, onboard and offboard employees
Overseeing HJRs controlled documents updating and circulating policies, procedures, forms, etc.
Developing and maintaining a variety of company policies and internal procedures ensuring compliance with legislation and compliance
Managing employee vacation and time-off tracking for seasonal and hourly employees
Keep accurate records of employee data and maintain discretion with confidential information
Provide support to other departments safety, projects, operations, etc.
Provide support to employees - address employee inquiries regarding a variety of HR topics
What do we value?
1-3 years experience in a similar position preferred
Post-secondary education, diploma or degree preferably in Human Resources or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable to change
Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time well
Strong attention to detail
Criminal record check is required for this position
