Experience
- Pediatric assessment and treatment, multi-disciplinary assessment
- 5 years experience in an increasingly independent professional role
- Supervisory experience is an asset
Education
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Physical Therapy is acceptable
- Current CPR certification

- Knowledge in the determinants of health and impact on health
- Extensive knowledge of community health services

- Ability to design and conduct in-service training for other professionals
- Knowledge of HIPA
- Knowledge of TLR with willingness to be trained as a TLR trainer
- Knowledge of Safety legislation (Occupational Health & Safety & Evidence Act)
- Knowledge and application of quality improvement principles, tools, and outcomes
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge in evidence based research
- Works independently, effectively and cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to be self directed and work relatively independently
