Program: Northern Community & School Recreation Coordinator Program (NC&SRCP)
Location: Northern Saskatchewan
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role
Are you passionate about community development, youth engagement, and recreation? The Northern Community & School Recreation Coordinator Program (NC&SRCP) is seeking a dedicated Program Consultant to support and mentor Recreation Coordinators across northern Saskatchewan. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in remote and Indigenous communities by helping build vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable recreation programs.

Key Responsibilities
Provide mentorship and guidance to Community & School Recreation Coordinators (CSRCs)
Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of local sport, culture, and recreation initiatives
Facilitate training sessions and professional development opportunities
Monitor program activities and assist with reporting and impact assessment
Build partnerships with schools, Indigenous organizations, and community stakeholders
Contribute to program planning, budgeting, and grant applications

Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Recreation, Community Development, Education, or a related field
Experience working in northern communities would be an asset
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to travel within northern Saskatchewan
Knowledge of culturally responsive programming and community engagement strategies
