Reporting to the Production Improvement Coordinator, Utilities, the Student, Operator (Power) will be a part of the production team responsible for the safe operation of the Utilities Department. The successful applicant will be participating in the operation of Boilers, Gas Turbine Generators, Tank Farm, Site Utilities, and balance of plant assets. This position will be required to climb stairs and may be required to work in hot humid conditions as well as outdoors during hot/cold weather conditions. The position will require manual effort i.e.: turning valves and periodic lifting of materials.
Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPCs pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, functional fitness evaluation and drug & alcohol testing.
This position is a 4-month student term (May 2026 - August 2026) located at the Bethune mine site.
