About the Role:
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be the cornerstone of our daily dining operations, ensuring that every guest enjoys the exceptional service that matches the grandeur of our historic setting. You will supervise our service team across our restaurant, lounge, and for private events and banquets.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our serving and food preparation staff. Lead by example with a great attitude and grace under pressure.
Operational Excellence: Establish work schedules and procedures. Maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage to ensure efficiency.
Team Development: Train staff in job duties, emphasizing our commitment to excellence, unparalleled customer service, and strict sanitation and safety procedures.
Quality Control: Ensure that all food presentation and service meet our high-quality control standards, delivering a truly unique guest experience.
Supply Management: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies and prepare food order summaries for the Chef to ensure seamless operation.
Guest Experience: May participate in menu planning and development. Uphold our standard of "going above and beyond" to ensure guest satisfaction.
Team Building: Participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in fostering an upbeat and positive work environment.
Who You Are (Our Ideal Candidate):
You possess proven experience in a food service supervisory or team lead role.
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to train and motivate a team.
