Description

The Grant Hall Hotel, a designated National Historic Site and a landmark in downtown Moose Jaw, is seeking a welcoming and professional Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our dedicated team. If you are a personable individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, we invite you to apply for this key role.
About the Role:
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their overall experience at our historic property. You will be responsible for managing guest services with efficiency and warmth, ensuring that every interaction reflects the distinguished standards of Grant Hall.
Key Responsibilities:
    Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
    Information Hub: Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and registration by letter, telephone, and in person, providing a welcoming and informative presence.
    Community Liaison: Provide information about services and attractions available in the community, enhancing our guests' stay in Moose Jaw.
    Problem Resolution: Listen attentively and respond professionally to guests' complaints, turning challenges into opportunities for exceptional service.
    Administrative Duties: Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers using our hotel management system.
    Check-Out Process: Present clear statements of charges to departing guests and efficiently process payments.
