The Grant Hall Hotel, a designated National Historic Site and a landmark in downtown Moose Jaw, is seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Food Counter Attendants / Kitchen Helpers. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in contributing to exceptional guest experiences, we invite you to apply for this versatile role.
As a Food Counter Attendant / Kitchen Helper, you will be an essential part of our culinary operations, supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Your versatility and dedication will ensure the smooth functioning of our dining services, from food preparation to maintaining cleanliness and assisting guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, burgers, fries, salads, and beverages using kitchen equipment like grills, fryers, and beverage dispensers.
Clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs using manual and     Portion, assemble, and wrap food for dine-in or take-out service.
Interact with guests by taking orders, serving at counters or buffet tables, and processing payments.
Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including washing tables, appliances, and kitchen equipment.
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a dishwasher.
Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and serving areas with supplies and condiments.
Clear and clean tables, replenish supplies, and assist with setting up dining areas.
Unpack and store supplies in designated storage areas like refrigerators and cupboards.
Sweep and mop floors, remove trash, and ensure kitchen garbage containers are clean.
Support cooks and kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed.
