Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Safety Training Instructor to deliver training in Fall Protection, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platform, and numerous other safety courses. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting workplace safety through effective and engaging instruction.

Responsibilities:

Deliver in-person safety training for the courses listed above.

Ensure all instruction meets current safety standards and industry best practices.

Incorporate real-world field experience to provide practical, relatable training.

Maintain accurate records, attendance, and documentation for each course.

Prepare and organize training materials, equipment, and classroom setup.

Evaluate participants and provide constructive feedback.

Be willing to learn and instruct additional safety courses as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 35 years of relevant field experience (oil & gas, construction, or industrial sectors preferred).

Previous instructional or mentoring experience is an asset.

Instructor certification(s) in Fall Protection, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platform, or H2S Alive are considered an asset but not required.

Strong understanding of applicable safety standards and legislation.

Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Valid drivers license and ability to travel as needed.
